Art Adventures: Paint-Along Classes & Courses
Enjoy a relaxing and fun evening learning to paint. Complete your painting project by following along with me as I show you each element step-by-step.
No painting experience necessary!
All classes and courses are currently ONLINE. I offer live Zoom classes and also Anytime Art Adventures, where you follow-along with pre-recorded step-by-step videos, with reference photos, to complete your painting. You can paint at YOUR convenience! You also have unlimited email access to me plus up to FOUR 15 minute Zoom calls.
Print Formats
Many of my original artwork images are also available in a variety of art reproduction formats. All are produced as GICLÈE PRINTS (zhee-klay). This is a superior printing process that uses high-end papers and canvas to make reproductions or prints of an original painting or photograph. Giclèe printing will make photos and paintings jump out with deep blacks, saturation and gradations. All of my art reproductions are produced locally.
The Print Formats I currently offer are listed below:
Art Cards with Envelope – 5” x 7”. Blank on the inside. Cards are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper using wind energy.
Matted Art Reproductions – Image is approx. 5" x 7" and come already matted to fit a standard 8" x 10" frame of your choice. Great gift idea!
Porcelain Art Ornaments - Measure 2.75" in daometer and are individually boxed for easy gift giving and storage.
Paper Reproductions – Printed on 100% cotton smooth finish paper, these are ready for the buyer can choose their own matting and frame.
Designer Canvas Art Reproductions – Provide the look and feel of original artwork. All are high quality gallery-wrapped and ready to hang without framing.
Aluminum Reproductions – Printed directly on white aluminum, these high quality reproductions are attractively displayed as a "floating" image and provides a unique contemporary display of artwork.
Framed Acrylic Reproductions – Highest quality metallic print mounted directly under optically clear acrylic and framed in an attractive and sleek black wood profile.
Floating Photo Panel Reproductions – Printed on premium lustre coated paper with a satin finish, these premium quality reproductions are displayed as a "floating" image and provides a unique contemporary display of artwork. This premium product has the richest colour range.
Art Coasters – Set of 4 coasters with a gloss finish on the front, with black rounded edges and cork backing. Each measures 3.75" x 3.75" x 1/8".
500pc Jigsaw Puzzles – Several images to choose from! Makes a great gift for anyone who loves art and a good puzzle! Cpmpleted puzzle measures 16"x20".
Payment
I accept Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Bank Transfer (EFT) payments through my website.
Order Time Frames
I do carry some smaller items in stock; however, most orders are printed just for you! Your order is placed with my printing company as soon as I receive your order payment. This process normally takes 2-4 weeks to print. If your order is being shipped, it can take up to another 10 business days for Canada Post to make your delivery. If you live in the St. John’s / Northeast Avalon area, local pick-up or delivery is usually the best option. Contact me for more details.
Artwork as a Gift
To purchase artwork for a gift, select the artwork and format you want and place in your shopping cart as usual. When you are prompted to complete your billing address, there is also an option to complete a SHIPPING ADDRESS as well, where you will now fill in the address where you wish to have the order shipped. If you have any questions, please contact me by e-mail or telephone and I will be happy to assist you.
Shipping
I use Canada Post Expedited shipping with a tracking number and signature for most products. In the rare instance that anything in your order is damaged upon arrival, please contact me immediately and I will return or exchange the damaged item. Please see my Payment, Shipping & Return Policies for more details.
Locally Made
I produce artwork in my studio in Torbay, NL and my printing company is now located in PEI. I also use local framers located in Mount Pearl and St. John’s.
Framing
I only use framers who produce exceptional work. My preferred framers are located in Mount Pearl and St. John’s. Please contact me for pricing and options for any unframed artwork or art reproductions.
Studio
My studio is located in Torbay, NL. My studio does not have any set hours of operation, so if you wish to take a tour of my studio, you can certainly contact me by e-mail or telephone to arrange a time outside of my teaching times to visit. It is a working studio where I also teach classes, so it may be a little messy sometimes as it is well used!
Gift Certificates
Don’t know what to buy someone? I have gift certificates available for purchase in whatever denomination you prefer. My gift certificates can be used to purchase original artwork, art reproductions, or for my art classes and workshops. Gift certificates have no expiry date and I can help your gift recipient find the perfect gift for them!
Commissions
I have painted several commissions. I usually use my own photography as a reference; however, I can use photos owned by the person requesting the commission. Commissioning artwork is quite easy and affordable. Contact me to talk about size, medium, composition and time frame for completion and to discuss pricing. I only complete a few commissions a year.
